Peace
What is it? Why do
we take it for granted?
Or, do we take it
for granted?
Whatever the case
may be, war is steady
Peace is fragile.
Does the human race
have some lesson to learn here?
We never seem to
‘get it right’.
Could this possibly
be BECAUSE OF US?
The cycle goes on,
like a trip around the moon
We discover our own
dune buggy but it is on a different side, the same side from whence
we started.
How is it that we
see things differently in time and space? Things really aren't different, but we
‘think’ we have progress, we think we see things differently,
‘now’ or ‘this time around’.
I’m reminded of
what Wayne Dyer said of human nature i.e. the human race,
“When you live on
a round planet, there is no choosing sides.
Christ said
something similar in the Gnostic Gospels,
“Where the end is,
there will the beginning be.”
Consciousness may
‘be’ the secret to bringing the human race closer together, if there is such a thing.
Beginnings come at
the closure of endings. The universe resolves itself this way.
We end war, and THAT
is where peace begins, Likewise we end PEACE,
that is where war begins. In reality, there is
no beginning, no end, there is only us: "Consciousness"
It’s easy to say, “I don’t care about those people OVER THERE”. But
Lao and Christ would say back to us, “the first shall
be last... AND... the last shall be first”, This holds true,
whether in war, peace or resources etc. Today we have poverty, climate changes, and great riches? But what does this all mean? Is it merely just a cycle? You can't take it with you, as the saying goes.
Maybe we have
something to learn about 'ourselves' and the planet? Maybe war is
nothing more that an inability to recognize 'ourselves?' If we wake up 'ourselves' maybe we can wake up the planet as well? We are not all there
is to the cosmos. Maybe this is what it means by making peace?
(Ultimately of course)
